Michael Johns on Atlanta's Q100 & Tin Roof Appearance Tonight!

Just a reminder to all of you fans lucky enough to live in the Atlanta area, Michael Johns will be playing at his old stomping grounds, The Tin Roof tonight at 7 pm followed by a Meet and Greet with the fans!

Michael Johns announced from his MySpace blog today that he'll be doing an interview for Q100 this Friday, July 17th followed by a performance and Meet and Greet to be held at the Tin Roof Cantina starting at 7pm that night.

All of you Atlanta fans who are lucky enough to live in the area be sure to make plans to attend. As you know, Michael considers Atlanta his "American hometown". He'll be touring with Brooke White beginning in September to showcase his newly released CD Hold Back My Heart.

Q100's The Bert Show Interview With Michael Johns

Michael Johns does an interview with Q100 while they recorded from the Nokia during the American Idol Interview session being done for the finale. This isn't the first time Michael has been featured on The Bert Show! As a matter of fact, since they hail from Atlanta, I expect we'll be hearing a lot of Michael Johns from them. Atlanta is where Michael Johns considers his American home.

Great info in this interview including news about the Top 40 stations that will be adding Michael's new single 'Heart On My Sleeve' next month! His single is already doing well on AC and debuted at #27 on Billboard's AC last week. Listen to the entire interview below!

He talks about the music industry in general and how hard he's working with all the gigs he has happening now. Michael recently did a Garnier Fructis commercial while on a TV special and gives us more good news into what that piece of acting might lead.

There's so much more in the interview too, like how he met Stacey and a few other neat tidbits that he's included. Is a cross country move in his near future? This is just one of the questions he answers. He talks about this week's appearance on Ellen, his underwear, and surprise he had made for her. This is a can't miss appearance folks! It's the first time Michael did 'Heart On My Sleeve' with a full band!

The Today Show is booking Michael on the album's actual release date (June 23rd) for the Summer's Concert Series. He gives more info about being on the Hannah Montana Show, (no, that's not a typo) where he'll be playing himself and singing his single! Here! What am I doing? Listen for yourself. :P

Michael Johns just appeared on Good Day LA this morning to talk about his new single 'Heart On My Sleeve', which was just released April 14th. Michael tells Good Day LA the single was the number one add to Hot AC and AC radio stations yesterday.

The song is his debut single from the upcoming album Hold Back My Heart, due out June 23rd. He also talks about being on the red carpet for the X-Men Origin - Wolverine premiere that was held in LA last night.

He catches up with a few of the Good Day LA hosts including Jillian Reynolds. Watch the grateful giggle Michael gives as Jillian tries to sing his new single. Cute stuff! Here's the video from this morning's show!

Michael has told the story of how the Bee Gees originally wrote the song for Otis Redding, but sadly Otis passed away before he was able to record it. Michael Johns Is A Hit In Oz!

According to The Morning Show in Australia, Michael Johns is a hit. He was featured on their show April 24, 2009. There's lots of great info in this video clip, including the fact that Michael's been asked to "co-host" for an episode of The Today Show with Regis and Kelly!  Promotion for "Heart On My Sleeve" is just beginning, so look for Michael to start making the rounds at the likes of Conan, Leno, Letterman Ellen and the rest of the talk shows!  I can't wait to see what comes next.  Cheers!

Has Michael finally given us some new information? It seems like he has signed with Downtown Records- the same indie label that manages Gnarls Barkley! Yay! It sounds awesome. You can watch the interview here. And we finally have Michael confirming the date of his album release on tape.
